Fundamentals I: 12pm-4pm $250, Introduction to fundamentals, basic breath patterns, and the Pilates’ philosophy, history, and principles taught by Marissa Belcoff
Fundamentals II: 12pm-4pm $250, Review basic fundamentals and learn additional fundamental exercises for variation taught by Marissa Belcoff
Anatomy II: 12pm-4pm $250, Pilates on the Mat anatomy taught by William Conder D.C. and Marissa Belcoff
At Midwest Pilates Natural Health Education, our mission is to present each student the
opportunity to enrich his or her life by providing the best information on Pilates and
Natural Health.
Our core curriculum is comprised of a 400 hour comprehensive Pilates certification program backed by an extensive one on one apprenticeship program. We also offer Natural Health “electives” workshops to provide a more holistic approach to our Pilates certification program.
Midwest Pilates Natural Health Education stresses the importance of the whole person and acknowledges the right and necessity for each individual to take responsibility for his or her own health. This holistic approach to teaching will allow each student the opportunity to develop a fuller understanding of the Pilates method.
What makes MPNHE different from other programs?
- We offer exceptional Pilates and Natural Health workshops at a fair price with no extensive travel necessary.
- We offer a wide range of workshops to provide our students the opportunity to grow as an individual and teacher.
- We offer a one on one apprenticeship program that gives each student the education and support needed to fully understand the Pilates method.
- We teach traditional Pilates as a concept, not as a series of exercises.
- Students will learn the entire work on every piece of apparatus before certifying out of the program.
- Our program is based off the work of Joseph H. Pilates as taught to Eve Gentry with additions from Michele Larrson, Virginia Nicholas, and Marissa Belcoff.
***Midwest Pilates Natural Health Education (MPNHE) is a 400 hour formal Pilates teacher training program. The education and certification you receive through MPNHE will prepare you for the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) national certification exam.
